PRESIDENT, FOUNDER

Dan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice at Kent State University in 1989. He has worked for the Lake County Narcotics Agency, Cleveland Heights Police Department and is currently a Lieutenant with the Shaker Heights Police Department. Dan has been married for 25 years and has four children. His oldest son has followed in his footsteps to pursue a career in law enforcement.

VICE PRESIDENT, FOUNDER

Ralph has a 30-year background in law enforcement starting at the age of 19 in the Euclid City Jail to completing the police academy at age 20. Ralph spent most of his career with the Shaker Heights Police Department as a Corporal in the Traffic Division and was also a member of SWAT as a Counter Sniper. Ralph currently serves as Chief Deputy with the Portage County Sheriff's Office.

In 1999, Ralph founded Great Lakes Outdoor Supply, a sporting goods retail company.  Since 2012, Ralph has served as Geauga County Commissioner with key responsibilities overseeing the County budget of over $100 million dollars annually along with 11 county departments and over 250 employees.

SECOND VICE PRESIDENT

George is a retired Captain of the Parma Fire Department, where he served for over 34 years. During his career he took several cross-over roles, serving as a SWAT and Bomb Medic with the Southwest Enforcement Bureau.

SECRETARY, FOUNDER

Jim started in law enforcement as an auxiliary officer for the City of Bedford in 1985. He was then hired as a full-time officer by the City of Warrensville Heights in 1986 where he served until 1997. Jim was hired by the City of Shaker where he served with Dan Clementi and Ralph Spidalieri as they worked together on the SWAT team (1*). Jim was forced to retire in September of 2001 due to health reasons.  Jim is married with three grown children.

EVENT COORDINATOR

With a background in marketing and graphic design, Nicole brings creativity, heart, and a strong passion for everything she does. She has served as the event coordinator for Blue Line Unlimited since 2016, where she plans and executes impactful events that support and honor first responders and their families—a cause deeply personal to her, having grown up in a family of first responders.  In 2023, Nicole founded Cowboy Creamery, a full-service ice cream shop she opened in Middlefield, Ohio.  Through both her business and nonprofit work, Nicole is driven by a passion for community, service, and creating memorable experiences.  Nicole is the daughter of Ralph Spidalieri and a proud supporter of our first responders.

DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS

Jeff Follmer is a 32.5-year veteran of the Cleveland Division of Police, where he has dedicated his career to serving the city with integrity and leadership. He spent 7 years on patrol before transitioning to the Vice Unit, where he served for 13 years. Jeff has also been a strong advocate for his fellow officers through his 12 years of union involvement—serving 3 years as Vice President and 9 years as President of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association. Currently, he continues his service as a School Resource Officer at Highland High School, where he remains committed to building trust and safety within the community. Throughout his career, Jeff has remained a steadfast voice for law enforcement and a dedicated public servant.

Chris has been a lifelong Law Enforcment officer and current serves the Warren, Ohio Police Department.

DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL OPERATIONS

Born in Cleveland, Bruce Zuchowski has lived in Portage County since 1978. The son of a Cleveland police officer, Bruce served the public for almost thirty years: twenty six years with the Ohio State Patrol (14 years as Assistant Post Commander) and two and a half years as a part-time and special deputy in the Portage County Sheriff’s Office.

Bruce currently serves as the Sheriff for Portage County, Ohio after being elected in November of 2020.
